Next steps in Kelly Road Secondary School renaming issue

School District 57 Board of Education trustees are in the process of reviewing data and feedback from Wednesday night’s presentation of a summary report of the Kelly Road Secondary School renaming questionnaire.

“All trustees were thrilled at the public participation numbers and value the time that people took to share with us,” said Board Chair Tim Bennett, in a news release. “We have a lot of data and feedback to review and commit to doing so.”

Trustees will continue their evaluation of the summary report and verbatim responses in preparation for the Board of Education regular public meeting on Tuesday, April 28, at which time they will make a final decision regarding the name of the new school building that replaces Kelly Road Secondary School in September 2020.
