A 19-year-old woman is dead as a result of a single-vehicle accident on Blackwater Road Thursday.
The accident occurred at about 11:45 a.m. on Thursday on Blackwater Road near East Beaverly Road, approximately six kilometres south of Highway 16.
RCMP officers and other emergency services attended the scene and discovered the woman, who was deceased at the scene. There were no other occupants of the vehicle.
That portion of Blackwater Road was closed in both directions for a number of hours while investigators gathered evidence. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
