City suspending parking time limit enforcement downtown and near hospital

The City of Prince George is no longer enforcing time limits relating to parking downtown and near the hospital. This temporary change is in response to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and applies to both on-street parking and non-reserved off-street parking.

Customers currently parking in city parkades who wish to cancel their parking spot to take advantage of this free street and lot parking will be offered a pro-rated refund and are encouraged to contact Parking Control by dialling 250-561-7622 or emailing bylawservices@princegeorge.ca.

Parking control officers will continue to enforce safety-related parking issues throughout the city including downtown, and to provide enforcement for all customer-reserved parking stalls located in parking lots.

The city requests that all motorists respect the reserved stalls in the parking lots to avoid enforcement action. Violations of parking bylaws related to handicapped parking spaces and illegal parking will continue to be enforced.
