The Prince George Hospice Society has cancelled its May events – High Tea and the second annual Colour Walk.
It has also closed its resale store to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers and customers. Hospice will be contacting those who purchased tickets and refunding their money All sponsors will be notified.
“We appreciate that this is a difficult time for all our not-for-profit partners and we will not be rescheduling these events to ensure that the fundraising space is left open for those events previously planned by our partners,” according to a statement from the society.
The Hospice Society continues to provide care for those at end of life at Rotary Hospice House and are available to those at home by phone.
