Gisome Elementary School was evacuated this morning due to a train derailment in the vicinty. Apparently no one was injured.
Students were transported by staff to their designated evacuation site at Willow River Church.
Parents are being notified by the school district of the evacuation and are able to either pick up their children from Willow River Church or have them transported to Blackburn Elementary School for the remainder of the day.
No word from CN yet on the cause or how many cars derailed.
