Miracle Theatre’s latest production, the comedy The Birds and the Bees, is a hit already. After opening night on Friday, tickets for the run were mostly sold out. On Saturday producer Anne Laughlin made the decision to hold the production over until March 8.
Tickets for these extra days were already being snapped up as soon as they arrived at Books and Company as the rumour spread that there was to be an extension. If you want to catch the show it would be wise to head to Books and Company soon for the best choice of available dates. Tickets are also available by phone at 250-563-6637. Tickets are $34. Performances are every evening except Mondays, with 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. performances on Sundays.
All proceeds from the professional production are being donated to the Children of Prince George Fund under the trusteeship of the Prince George Community Foundation. Miracle Theatre started the fund to benefit local children in need with a donation of $84,000 from last year’s production of Halfway There. The goal this year is to get the The Children’s Fund well over $150,000.
