Corey Cunningham scored his 23nd of the season and his sixth goal in five games, and Carter Woodside made 38 saves, but the Spruce Kings were unable to get the extra point as they fell 3-2 to the Wenatchee Wild in a shootout.

“I thought we spent more time in our D-Zone then we would of liked tonight, but at the same time, a credit to Woody (Woodside) and out guys for sticking around, sticking with it, and finding a way to tie the game,” said Spruce Kings Associate Coach Colin Minardi.
