Search warrants yield drugs and cash

In the early morning hours of January 24, the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed three search warrants in relation to a local group believed to be heavily involved in the trafficking of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs.

The warrants were executed at residences on the 2800 block of Norwood Street, the 2100 block of Pine Street and the 500 block of Ahbau Street in Prince George.  During the searches, police seized in excess of five ounces total of heroin/fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine from these locations.  In addition, just over $18,000 in cash was seized.

This action resulted in the arrest of four men and one woman.  They were held for investigation and later released pending further investigation and charge approval from the Prosecution Service of Canada. Three other people were released on scene.
