Friday night at the South Surrey Arena was not the Spruce Kings (16-25-5) night as they fell to the Surrey Eagles (19-20-7) by a 3-0 score.
Christophe Tellier and Hudson Schandor had two points each, while Tellier was also credited with the eventual game winning goal that came in the second period. Surrey goaltender and Cloverdale native Reece Klassen stopped all 35 shots he saw en route to a shutout for Surrey. Carter Woodside stopped 22 out of 25 in the defeat for Prince George.
