Just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday January 8, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at a retail store located on the 600 block of Central Street in Prince George.
Initial indications were that a man attempted to steal approximately $200 in perfumes. When confronted by staff, the suspect pulled a large knife and fled the area.
Frontline officers including a police dog services team, attended the area to search for the suspect. Despite significant efforts, the suspect was not located.
All efforts to identify the suspect have been unsuccessful. Investigators are now asking the public’s help. The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Medium complexion
- Tall
- Wearing brown ankle boots, dark pants, dark hoodie and a black ‘Puma’ brand baseball cap.
