As part of the ongoing investigation into the shooting of a local man on Tuesday January 14, frontline officers attended a residence on Parkview Crescent to speak with the occupants. Officers attended during the early afternoon of Wednesday January 15.
While there, officers observed a handgun on the kitchen counter. All occupants of the house were arrested – two 21-year-old men, a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman. All are residents of Prince George.
Search of the residence found another handgun, an SKS rifle, another rifle with a suppressor, ammunition, body armour, a significant amount of cash, and a large quantity of drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine and cannabis.
Neither the firearms nor the persons arrested are believed to be directly involved in the shooting.
All four persons were later released pending further investigation and charge approval.
