Cougars 50/50 Society donates to PG Community Foundation

Prince George Cougars’ Vice-President, Business, Andy Beesley, presents a $15,413 cheque to Mindy Stroet of the Prince George Community Foundation. The money was raised through the Cougars 50/50 draw for Oktoberfest.

The Prince George Cougars 50/50 Society recently presented the Prince George Community Foundation Agencies.

The $15,413, through the PG Community Foundation, was awarded to Hope Air, Spinal Cord Injury BC, Carney Hill Neighbourhood Centre and the YMCA of Northern BC at our Fall Grant Reception last week.

In October, the PG Community Foundation was the sponsor of the Cougars’ 50/50 Society Mega 50/50 Jackpot for Oktoberfest Night.

Founded in 1995, the Prince George Community Foundation is an independent, volunteer-driven, charitable organization. Member of the Community Foundations of Canada, the Prince George Community Foundation facilitates philanthropy, by partnering with donors to build permanent endowment funds that support community projects.
