A 38-year-old Prince George man is facing impaired driving charges following an accident Saturday that sent two people to hospital.
Police say the crash occurred just before noon at the intersection of Foothills Boulevard and Chief Lake Road.
Officers attended and found a pickup truck had collided with a SUV. The male driver and a child were removed from the SUV and transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the detachment for further investigation. He was later released on a promise to appear in court on a future date.
Vehicle traffic in the area was effected for about three hours while officers gathered evidence from the scene. The investigation is continuing.
