Environment Canada is warning of possible freezing rain and/or ice pellets in many parts of the Interior by Monday.
An arctic front pushed through the central interior last night bringing cold air to the region. A Pacific warm front will bring warm moist air that will ride over the cold arctic air on Monday. Freezing rain or ice pellets are expected to develop over the Bulkley Valley and the Lakes, Prince George and Cariboo regions Monday afternoon and last through Monday evening. Freezing rain and ice pellets will likely spread to other regions of the central interior on Monday night.
Freezing rain and ice pellets are forecast to change to rain or showers on Tuesday over the central interior and to snow or flurries over the northern interior.
