On Thursday the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed five search warrants as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in the Prince George area.
The Street Crew unit was assisted by the detachment’s Serious Crimes Section and Police Dog Service, as well as the North District RCMP’s Emergency Response Team and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC (CFSEU-BC).
The warrants were executed at residences on Lyon Street, Conveyor Street, Simpson Road and Isle Pierre Road, as well as a storage unit on Highway 97 (Hart Highway). During the searches, a significant quantity of cocaine and nearly $15,000 in cash was seized.
A 54-year-old man, 49-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were arrested at the time of the searches. All were released pending further investigation and consideration for charge approval.
