October is Waste Reduction Month and the Regional District is talking trash.
Throughout the month of October, the Regional District is hosting “Talking Trash” information nights throughout the region to share information with residents about food waste, recycling, composting and illegal dumping.
Upcoming sessions are scheduled in Valemount, McBride and Prince George.
– Valemount: Wednesday October 9, Valemount Community Hall – McBride: Thursday October 10, Robson Valley Community Centre – Prince George: Tuesday October 22, Civic Centre, Room 204-206
A session was held last week in Mackenzie.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for each session. There will be displays set up, with a presentation from Regional District staff at 7 p.m. A Q&A session will follow the presentation
