For four years, Pacific Western Brewing has partnered with all four local Save On Foods locations for their summer concert events.
The local grocery stores host a barbecue, with 100 per cent of the proceeds being donated to their charity of choice, the BC Children’s Hospital. The partnership began in 2016 for PWB’s first big music event held at the Brewery featuring Honeymoon Suite and has continued on to Cariboo Rocks The North, a three-day music festival held at Exhibition Park.
Cariboo Rocks The North is a partnership between PWB, CN Centre, and GSL Group. Save On Foods has been involved with both years of the event, but 2019 saw almost double the amount raised for the Children’s Hospital.

“We are extremely grateful to have such a great relationship with the management team at Save On Foods, and to be able to continually partner with them on a number of initiatives, but especially at our annual concert events,” said Kyle Sampson,
Manager of Northern BC, Pacific Western Brewing. “It’s incredible. Over $12,000 donated to BC Children’s Hospital. The folks at SaveOn share similar values to all of us involved with the event. We certainly appreciate all they do to continually give back and do their part in building a better community.”
