Cariboo Rocks the North will be back in 2020

Cariboo Rocks the North will be back in 2020.

“This past weekend was a one that will not be forgotten by anyone who came out to the show,” said Kyle Sampson, Pacific Western Brewing’s manager of northern B.C. “A tremendous lineup, great weather, and an awesome northern B.C. crowd … An event of this magnitude wouldn’t be possible without a small army behind it. From our event management team, to our staff, suppliers, contractors, the artists and the patrons – thank you for making Cariboo Rocks The North Northern BC’s biggest summer party – we can’t wait to be back for a third year at Exhibition Park in 2020.”

Sampson called this past weekends event, which kicked off Friday with a performance Lee Aaron and wound up Sunday night with  Loverboy rocking the stage, a resounding success.

There were good crowds for the three-day event which saw 11 acts take the stage.

Tickets are already on sale for Cariboo Rocks the North 2020, which is slated for August 7-9, 2020. The line-up hasn’t been determined yet but Sampson will undoubtedly be working on bringing in another stellar group of bands.

Cariboo Rocks the North is a partnership between Pacific Western Brewing, CN Centre, and GSL Group. The outdoor festival takes place at Exhibition Park, located beside the CN Centre, with a custom designed site plan to accommodate more than 4,000 Classic Rock fans per day. The past two year’s events have been host to numerous Classic Rock acts that included Loverboy, Randy Bachman, Glass Tiger, Kim Mitchell, Trooper, Honeymoon Suite, The Romantics, 54.40 and many more. The festival grounds offer a comfortable festival setting, a wide range of PWB drinks, food trucks, VIP access and much more. This year also saw a new offering of on-site camping provided by the BCNE, which sold out all available camping spots.
