Northern BC SIP Wine Festival management partnership finalized

The Board of Directors of the Northern BC SIP Wine Festival and the BC Wine, Cider & Spirits Festival jointly announced today that the BC Wine Festival team will be taking over the management and operations of Prince Georges SIP Wine Festival.

“Sip Wine Festival Society is excited to have the BC Wine Festival partner with us to operate the fourth annual wine festival in northern B.C.,” said Pat Bell, Chair of SIP, in a news release. “We had hoped for some time to attract a professional company to deliver the festival and to have Allen Tozer, Katherine Bramall and team on board will guarantee a great wine festival into the future.”

The BC Wine Cider and Spirits Festival hosts multiple whole sensory consumer tasting experiences throughout the year, featuring Winterland and Mile High at SilverStar Mountain Resort, Le Cirque De La Nuit, Taco Vino and now will add the SIP Festival Management, which will include an industry trade tasting to their annual portfolio.

“We are so excited to announce this new partnership to our members and the community,” said Katherine Bramall, Founder & General Manager, BC Wine Cider and Spirits Festival.  “We look forward to working closely with the SIP Board, and being able to bring our members craft products to such a significant market.”

The Northern BC Wine Festival (SIP Festival) was created by the Northern BC Wine Festival Society in 2016 and saw 20+ events hosted in the City of Prince George. This 4-day festival pairs BC winery offerings with interactive events and dining experiences for Prince George and the North, placing an emphasis on education and hospitality.

The events in 2019 will be held from November 1-4, and all details will be available online at bcwinefestival.com
