One killed in single-vehicle crash north of Quesnel

One person was killed and another seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash at about 5:45 a.m. yesterday on Highway 97 near Hush Lake about 20 kilometres north of Quesnel.

Quesnel police say that a northbound vehicle with two occupants left the highway and crashed, resulting in the fatality.  The driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Prince George Region Traffic Services (PGRTS), the RCMP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service and the BC Coroners’ Service continue to investigate the cause of this crash.
