Earthquake hits south of Haida Gwaii

Earthquakes Canada is reporting a 5.1 magnitude earthquake just before 6 a.m. Friday, 368 kilometres south of Prince Rupert and south of Haidi Gwaii. The epicentre was 10 kilometres below the surface. There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected. No tsunami expected.
