Carefree Society donated bus to Big Brothers Big Sisters

The Carefree Society has donated a bus to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George.

This bus is a 2007 Dodge Sprinter and is fully equipped with a lift system to provide transportation for everyone.

“This van  is to replace an older fifteen passenger van that was retired earlier this year,” said Tim Bennett, Executive Director.  “This donation will truly create change for our agency and the children we serve. This bus would allow us to increase our child care spaces and serve more children. This donation will also allow us to ensure we are able to offer accessible transportation for our children, families and community.”

This van will be added to the fleet of vehicles that are available for pick up of the Before and After School Care Program and their licensed shuttle programs.  For information about these programs or the BBBSPG mentoring programs you can visit, connect on social media or call the  office at 250.563.7410.
