Planning to participate? Here are four resources to bike safely to your destination next week:
- Be informed about cycling signals, and road signs and rules.
- Plan your trip. Use a bike lane or bikeway route. Download the map and guide.
- Do you have a longer commute? Ride your bike and take the bus. Show your helmet and ride for free. All Prince George transit buses come equipped with bicycle racks that can carry up to two bikes at a time. Learn how to use the bike rack on the front of a BC Transit bus.
- Want to enjoy a scenic route to your destination? Choose from over 100+ km of City trails through a digital guide at https://princegeorge.ca/trails
Please note, many City’s trails are multi-use. Cyclists, please yield to pedestrians when you are biking along a shared trail/ pathway.
