Schools superintendent tenders her resignation

After three years on the job,  Marilyn Marquis-Forster has resigned as schools superintendent for School District 57.

According to a statement issued by the district, she has chosen to devote more time to the pursuit of other activities and opportunities.

“The board will be meeting in the coming days to start the search for an interim and our next superintendent,” said Board Chair Tim Bennett, in a news release.
