Mindy Stroet, senior fund development officer with the Prince George Community Foundation Child Development Centreexecutive director Darrell Roze with a cheque for $6,404.04. The funds are from the Miracle Theatre raffle and will go towards the purchase of a Bugzi wheelchair. The Bugzi offers a unique opportunity for pre-school children with disabilities to experience independent mobility, often for the first time in their lives. The Bugzi is an ideal training chair to help children to learn how to move, how to activate switches to impact their lives, and provide some independence in the classroom or at home. With its bright colours children are attracted to the chair so they want to drive, and the ability to drive it with a variety of switches or controls allows adults to use the Bugzi to train many children with different needs. The Prince George Community Foundation and Miracle Theatre are thrilled to be able to provide this support to the Child Development Centre.
