The British Columbia Snowmobile Federation held its annual AGM in Kamloops this past weekend. The Prince George Snowmobile Club was in attendance to witness the club’s former president and current marketing director, Meghan Bosecker, receive the annual Pat Whiteway Award for Outstanding Snowmobiler. Pat Whiteway (1944-2007) was a long-time volunteer and iconic ambassador for snowmobiling in BC. Pat was an oval racing champion, Kelowna Snowmobile Club President, BCSF Associate Director, BCSF Recreation Division President, BCSF Executive Director, along with many more positions for the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations, including President. This legacy award is the highest honour that a snowmobiler in B.C. can receive and the recipient of this award has shown an extraordinary level of dedication to improving the sport snowmobiling in BC.
