Police have released a more detailed description of a man wanted in connection with incidences of a man in a white truck approaching children.
The man is described as:
- Caucasian Male
- Aged 30-40 years old
- Short dark hair and a short dark beard with flecks of grey, approximately one inch in length
- Scar on his right eyebrow
On Tuesday, March 19, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a suspicious-looking man in a vehicle approaching a child walking near North Tabor Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:52 a.m. The man told the child to get in his truck. The child refused, immediately departed the area and was able to get to safety.
There are two similar incidents that have occurred in Prince George involving a man with a similar description driving a similar vehicle. One incident occurred on February 19 when a man followed a child for several blocks in his vehicle near the Heritage Elementary School. The other incident occurred on February 25, when a man approached a child near the Heritage Elementary School and attempted to lure the child into his vehicle.
The vehicle is believed to be a newer model White Toyota Tundra with an extended cab and a black tonneau cover.
