The Prince George Spruce Kings completed a weekend sweep of the Mainland Division leader, the Chilliwack Chiefs, with a 4-1 win over the rivals Saturday. On Friday, the Spruce Kings downed the Chiefs 5-3.
Dustin Manz scored twice while Layton Ahac and Liam Watson-Brawn each tallied singles in the win. Keenan Rancier made 25 saves in the Prince George net for the win.
The Rolling Mix Concrete Arena was packed as announced attendance was 1,403.
The win gives the Spruce Kings 84 points on the season, one point behind Chilliwack.
