Two arrested following armed robbery at local business

Police have a man and a woman in custody following an armed robbery Friday morning.
 
On Thursday, at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Prince George RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a local business near the corner of Eighth Avenue and Ahbau Street in Prince George. It was reported that a man, with a mask covering his face, had entered the store and brandished a knife.
 
Police attended the area and learned that a woman was also involved in committing the offence. The woman was arrested near the scene and within an hour, the man was located in the 2600 block of Upland Street and taken into custody as well.
 
The 35-year-old woman and 34-year-old man are both facing multiple charges, and and will make their first court appearance Friday.
