Extreme cold warning issued for Prince George … again

Did you like the balmy temperatures in the minus-teens yesterday? Well, the good old days are gone. Environment Canada has issued another extreme cold warning for Prince George and surrounding areas today.

A period of very cold wind chills is expected.

A cold arctic airmass has settled over the B.C. central interior. The combination of cold temperatures and winds will produce wind chills of -40 degrees Celsius overnight. The wind chill values are expected to ease Saturday afternoon.
