Cold weather could affect Prince George Iceman

Some things are even too cold for the Iceman.

Extreme cold weather warnings issued for Prince George could derail the 32nd Prince George Iceman, slated to go this Sunday, February 10, at 10 a.m. A decision will be made Sunday morning. Iceman officials posted the following on the events website:

The Prince George Iceman has a policy in place that we will not go ahead with the event if the temperature is colder than -20C at start time. At 8am on the day of the event we will announce if required on Facebook, and our website( http://pgiceman.ca ) if we need to delay the start of the event by 1 hour to an 11am start. This is the maximum that we can delay the start due to traffic control and venue restrictions. We will make the final call on cancellation of the event by 10am. If a delay occurs please pay close attention to the Facebook page and the website for updates. The banquet will go ahead regardless of the weather.
