The Burns Lake RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted for various offences, including sexual assault, assault, break and enter, uttering threats and willfully resisting/obstructing a peace officer, as well as multiple counts of failing to comply with probation order.
Gary Alec Jr. is described as:
- Indigenous male
- 173 cm (5’8)
- 82 kg (181 lbs)
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
Police have reason to believe that he may be travelling from Burns Lake to Houston and Prince George on a semi-regular basis. It is believed there may be people helping him avoid the police. Despite dozens of curfew checks, extensive neighbourhood enquiries, and numerous investigational techniques, police have had no interaction with Alec Junior since September 2018.
