A 32-year-old Quesnel woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Maple Drive near Kube Road in Quesnel Monday.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. Maple Drive was closed to traffic for several hours while an RCMP traffic analyst and investigators assessed the scene.
The investigation is in its early stages, but preliminary information has revealed the woman was wearing dark clothing and was not in a marked cross walk.
Two pedestrians were also hit in Prince George Monday. Both of those pedestrians survived.
