City seeking applications for three local grants

The City of Prince George is seeking applications for three grant programs that help to launch and sustain great ideas, events, and projects.

The Community Enhancement Grant, the myPG Community Grant, and the Celebrate Prince George Community Grant provide non-profit organizations with the financial support to get good, locally sourced ideas off the ground. The application deadline for these grants is March 15, 2019. The applications are now available at www.princegeorge.ca under the “Grants and Financial Assistance” section.

myPG Community Grant
Non-profit organizations that work in a community know its strengths and potential and have ideas on how to make the city a better place for everyone. Celebrate Prince George Grant
Non-profit organizations that offer community celebrations at any point in the year could qualify to receive support through this City and Tourism PG partnership. The program aims to foster a celebratory atmosphere that will attract visitors to our community. Please note that this grant is for the 2020 event season. Community Enhancement Grant
This grant program offers the community an opportunity to improve neighbourhoods and foster civic pride. These grants range from $200 to a maximum of $1,000. Contact: Marta Gregor at 250-561-7798 or Marta.Gregor@princegeorge.ca
