Beaverly Fire Department donates to Hospice Give a Gift campaign

The Beaverly Fire Department donated just over $2,400 to the 2018 Give a Gift to Hospice Campaign, in memory of the friends and family of the fire department that have been supported by the care at Rotary Hospice House. The donation consisted of funds raised from the annual Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast.

Hospice launched its Christmas Give a Gift campaign Thursday, Dec. 6 and it will run through to Monday, Dec. 24.

The cost of feeding the guests and families at the Rotary Hospice House is over $25,000 a year ($70/day & $490/week). Hospice asking for the community’s support this holiday season, any amount (large or small) so that it can continue bringing friends, families and loved ones together in the comforting embrace of the Hospice kitchen.

The goal is to raise enough money to purchase groceries for a full year. Donations can be given in-person at the Prince George Hospice Society Admin Office or online at www.hospiceprincegeorge.ca.
