Attempted sex assault in the city

The Prince George RCMP are currently investigating an attempted sexual assault that is believed to have taken place during the evening of Monday December 3, 2018 near the 200 block of Ruggles Street.

The victim, a girl under the age of 18, was walking alone in the area when a man approached her and pushed her down from behind.  The girl was able to get free and run away. 

The suspect is described as:

  • Dark skinned male, possibly African descent
  • 20 to 30 years old
  • 183 cm (6’0″)
  • Medium build
  • Very little or no hair (was wearing a toque)
  • Wearing a grey sweater, jeans and a toque

Investigators are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
