Spruce Kings add goaltender to roster

The Prince George Spruce Kings have added a goaltender to their roster, with the signing of Keenan Rancier (00) from Victoria.

Rancier, was with the Nanaimo Buccaneers of the VIJHL, and played in five games earlier this season in the BCHL with the Victoria Grizzlies.

Last season, he sported a 2.29 GAA and .921 save percentage with the Okanagan Hockey Academy Midget Prep program in Penticton.

“We’re excited to be adding Keenan to our roster,” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes. “He’s a good young athletic goalie with good size who has spent the past couple of seasons developing with a great program at OHA. He’s got some experience in our league and I wanted one of our goalies to be in that 2000 birth year age group.”
