Rivermen shut out the Spruce Kings

The good news is the Langley Rivermen only got 21 shots on the Prince George net Friday night. The bad news is four of those shots went in.

The Rivermen handed the Spruce Kings a 4-0 loss before 1,142 fans at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

Logan Neaton and Xavier Cannon teamed up in the Prince George net to make 17 saves in the loss.

Rivermen goals came from Daniel Lategan, Chase Pletzke, Jake Livingstone, and Trevor Ayre. Shane Battler made 27 saves in the Langley net to record the win.

The two teams are back at it tonight at 7 p.m. at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
