City re-opens downtown intersections

The City of Prince George has re-opened the intersection at Seventh Avenue and Dominion Street and the intersection at Sixth Avenue and George Street.

Both locations had been closed to traffic to allow crews to connect or replace water, storm, sanitary sewer, and other infrastructure. Both intersections have been repaved and pedestrian access – including for people with mobility devices – has been restored.

Seventh Avenue has been opened until just past the entrance to City Hall. The street will remain closed until further notice to allow for further utility upgrades and installations.
