Tim Bennett will continue as chair of the School District 57 Board of Education chair.
The new school board was sworn into office Tuesday evening and trustees put Bennett back in the chair’s chair.
Sharel Warrington, the only other incumbent on the board, will be the vice-chair. Newcomer Ron Polillo will be the board’s representative on the B.C. School Trustees’ Association and Betty Bekkering, who has previous experience on the board, will be the board’s representative of the BC Public School Employers’ Association.
Fellow trustees Trent Derrick from Prince George, Shuirose Valimohamed from Mackenzie, and Bob Thompson from the Robson Valley were also sworn into office.
“Thank you all for putting your faith in me to be your chair,” Bennett said.
