Rockets get past the Cougars in OT

Nolan Foote scored 43 seconds into overtime, handing the Kelowna Rockets a 4-3 win over Prince George.  Josh Maser, Jackson Leppard and Ryan Schoettler scored in the setback. The Rockets scored three power-play goals Saturday, including the overtime winner.

STREAK FREE: Josh Curtis had his six-game point streak come to an end on in Saturday’s setback. Curtis had five-goals and nine-points over his six-game point streak. The Cougars Captain has 10-points in 14-games.

SEASON SERIES:The Cougars now own a 2-1-1-0 record against the Rockets in four-games. The two teams meet again next month, when the Rockets visit Prince George on the November 14th. The Cougars face the Rockets nine-times this season.

UP NEXT :The Cougars (5-6-1-2) go back home for a three-game home stand next week, starting Tuesday against the Brandon Wheat Kings (6-3-3-1). It’s “Halloween with the Cougars,” as families can trick-or-treat on the concourse starting at 5:30 pm; the puck drops at 6:30 p.m.
