Alexis Creek RCMP were called out to a residence at Redstone, in the Chilcotin, late Friday evening.
When the arrived, police discovered a deceased man. The death appeared to be suspicious in nature and Alexis Creek RCMP called for assistance from North District Major Crime.
Police have one man in custody who will appear in Provincial Court on November 7. There is no information to suggest that the greater public is at further risk.
