Kamal Dhillon to speak at library on Tuesday

Prince George RCMP Victim Services and the Elizabeth Fry Society are hosting renowned international speaker against domestic violence, Kamal Dhillon.  This educational opportunity is free to the public and will take place on Tuesday October 23 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Prince George Public Library in the Keith Gordon Room.

Dhillon’s new book: I am Kamal: Survivor to Thriver celebrates the power of the human spirit and the will to move onward with courage and forgiveness despite living through severe domestic violence.

“Prince George has had the pleasure of hosting Kamal Dhillon as a keynote speaker at the Healing Through Learning Conference held in 2016,” said Krista Levar, RCMP Victim Services Coordinator and conference organizer. “We would like to invite the public to come and listen to Kamal’s inspirational words of courage at this event.  Domestic violence is faced by many people and bearing witness to the experiences of someone who has been through a harrowing and serious threat to her life and has survived is powerful.”
