Colin James is coming to the CN Centre, and he is bringing his band.
Joining Colin will be his special guest Barney Bentall and his band, plus Marty O’Reilly – for the Cariboo Rocks the North Warm Up – Saturday night – March 23, 2019. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 28, 10 a.m., at www.ticketsnorth.ca!
With his 19th album, Miles to Go (out Sept. 21, on Stony Plain Records in the USA and True North Records ROW), Colin James is getting back to the blues. And he’s also getting back to the road, announcing a 24-date, 23-city Canadian tour. See below for the complete schedule.
Miles to Go, Colin James’ ambitious sequel to the critically acclaimed Blue Highways, continues James’ story with a collection of carefully curated songs handpicked from some of the greatest blues artists. It will be sixteen years since Colin James and his band last played the CN Centre – and the CN Centre is one of only two arena dates on the Canadian tour! As a rock, blues, jump blues, and rhythm & blues artist, Colin’s shows are known for their inimitable energy, and fantastic music.
Barney Bentall, known for his collection of hits, including: “Something to Live For”, “Life Could Be Worse”, “Crime Against Love” and “Come Back to Me”, will take the stage before Colin.
And opening is Marty O’Reilly, from Santa Cruz, California, who mixes indie, folk, and blues music! O’Reilly will get the Cariboo Rocks the North Warm Up started!
