All-candidates forum set for Tuesday at library

The first all-candidates forum for mayoral and city council candidates is set for Tuesday evening.
Co-hosted by the CBC and the Prince George Public Library, the forum will be held in the Bob Harkins (downtown) branch of the library and will be hosted by CBC Radio’s Audrey McKinnon.
The format will be one in which every candidate will receive 90 seconds to introduce themselves.
The moderator will then ask questions submitted by the community and curated by the CBC Prince George team.
Each candidate will have the opportunity to volunteer to answer two questions — if no one volunteers, two names will be randomly selected by the moderator to answer.
There will also be special mayoral questions, and anytime one mayoral candidate answers, the other will be given the opportunity to answer as well (mayoral candidates can also volunteer to answer other questions, and council candidates can volunteer to answer mayoral questions).
There are two candidates for mayor and 13 for city council.
Doors at 6:30 p.m.,  and the forum gets underway at 7 p.m. End time no later than 9 pm.
