Smithers RCMP are trying to locate 18-year-old Jessica Balczer, who has not been seen since August 31.
She was reported missing September 3.
Balczer was last seen leaving the Mountain View Motel in Smithers in the early morning hours of August 31 and there have been unconfirmed sightings of Balczer in the Smithers downtown core, her whereabouts have yet to be established.
Balczer is described as:
- First Nations
- 5’ 3 tall
- 115 pounds
- long black hair
- brown eyes
She was last seen wearing a black sweater with markings on the front, dark pants, black shoes, and carrying a brown purse.
This remains a high priority and the investigation is ongoing.
