Woman killed in hit and run near Halfway River First Nations

A woman was killed in a hit and run in Fort St. John Sunday.

Fort St. John RCMP say they were called to the scene at Road 5 on the Halfway River, First Nations Reserve shortly after 10 p.m. where they found the deceased woman.

Police discovered evidence that led investigators to believe the woman may have been the victim of a hit and run.

Police have been actively working on this investigation and believe that someone holds the key to solving this case.
