A Prince George man is in custody following an alleged sexual assault and break-in Wednesday in the Connaught Hill area.
Police report that a woman arrived home find the suspect inside her residence. When she confronted him, he touched her in an inappropriate manner. The victim was able to fight the suspect off and he fled the residence.
A suspect was subsequently located and arrested. He was identified as Patrick Dwayne Williams of Prince George. Williams has been charged with break and enter, sexual assault, and theft under $5,000.
Williams has been held in custody since his arrest and will appear in Provincial Court on July 4.
