With temperatures expected to climb above 30 degrees Celsius over the next three days, Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for northern B.C.
“A building ridge of high pressure will bring sunny and hot weather over the next few days,” reads the statement. “Daytime high temperatures will reach near 30C today in the Central Interior and near 35C in the Southwest Interior. The warm weather is expected to persist until Wednesday.”
If you like the heat, enjoy it. If you don’t, find someplace cool. And, make sure to use plenty of sunscreen.
