Arrests lead to search warrant and drug seizures

The RCMP’s Street Crew Unit arrested three men and executed a search warrant in relation to a drug investigation Wednesday.

At approximately 7:30 p.m.,  officers arrested three men for drug-related offences at a residence on the 2200 block of Quince Street.  The three suspects, aged 34, 40 and 51, are known to local police.

The arrests led to the acquisition of a search warrant for the residence.  The search warrant led to the discovery and seizure of an amount of street drugs including what police believe to be fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine.

All three were released without charge at this time, pending further investigation and charge approval from the federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
